Vendors Plaza Kiosks Assembly
St. Thomas, USVI
This project involved the assembly and installation of 17 pre-fabricated vendor kiosks on the St. Thomas waterfront. The goal was to replace tattered tarps that cluttered the area, transforming it into a more visually appealing space. The kiosks, designed with two roller-door openings on each side and storage drawers underneath, provide a functional and attractive environment for vendors. Completing the project in less than two weeks was essential to minimize disruption to the waterfront. The upgrade was especially timely, as it aligned with the rising competitiveness of post-pandemic tourism throughout the Caribbean. With red-painted roofs to meet Historic Preservation requirements, these kiosks will contribute to the preservation of Charlotte Amalie’s heritage while enhancing the waterfront’s overall aesthetic.
