Chris Ferreras
Senior Project Manager
Project Manager, Chris Ferreras, brings more than 16 years of experience in project development and management to the J. Benton team. He is no stranger to the sun and sand having received his degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Miami in Florida. He has lived and worked in the USVI for more than 15 years and many projects across St. Thomas and St. Croix.
A true master of many trades, he has developed and worked on a vast spectrum of projects from new building construction to marine dredging, to dock and channel upgrades and process piping and equipment upgrades. Chris has worked on many capital projects in the USVI on St. Thomas and on St. Croix.
He has numerous certifications and has received training as an API 570 Piping Inspector, Construction and Maintenance Gas Turbines, Fire and Safety, and professional training from the Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority..
Chris is passionate about the preservation of Buck Island. As President of the Save Buck Island Committee, he has worked towards ensuring that this beautiful island remains with the people of St. Croix and protected from unnecessary over-regulation.
